Artist Applications
Become a vendor at the 2026 Women’s Art Festival.
The 43rd Annual Women’s Art Festival will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in City Park in Kingston, Ontario. This free, outdoor festival celebrates the creativity and talent of women artists and is a long-standing summer tradition in our community.
The festival features over 100 women artists showcasing original, hand-made work including visual art, fine craft, textiles, jewellery, and more. Live performances and creative programming throughout the day help create an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for artists and visitors alike.
Rooted in community impact, the Women’s Art Festival supports and uplifts women through creativity, connection, and giving back. Festival proceeds are donated to local organizations that support women and children.
Artists, thank you for considering being part of the 2026 Women’s Art Festival. Your work helps make this day a meaningful celebration of art, community, and collective support.
Booth Fees:
Single Booth (10’ x 10’) $100
Double Booth (10’ x 20’) $200
We also offer special rates for youth (under 18) booths - please contact info@womensartfestival.ca for more information.
Eligibility
The Women’s Art Festival accepts applications from all people who identify as female. All items offered for sale must be handmade by the artist presenting and selling the materials. If it is determined applicants have not handmade their artwork, they will not be considered for an artist booth space. WAF has the final authority to determine if the artist applicant meets these guidelines.
Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unable to send confirmation emails acknowledging receipt of your application or images.
Selection
The Women’s Art Festival is a curated and juried event, and artists will be selected based on the originality and quality of their work. We limit the number of participants in each category to ensure a diverse and unique showcase. Applicants approved to participate will be contacted in April 2026. Artists who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if a space becomes available. Acceptance in previous years does not guarantee acceptance for 2026.
Booth spaces are outdoors, and participants are responsible for their own setup, including tents, tables, and displays. Electricity will not be provided. Detailed setup instructions and logistics will be shared with selected artists closer to the event date. If you have any questions or require assistance, please email us at info@womensartfestival.ca. We look forward to showcasing the incredible creativity and talent of women artists at this year’s festival!
