Ragamalika Mohanraj is an IT Engineer by profession , an Indian Classical dancer by passion and a loving mother to her baby girl. She is a 1st Generation Artist/Immigrant from South Asia to Canada.

Raga is a practioner of Bharatnatyam for more than 25 years, her passion for dance intrigued her to start her training in Odissi as well.

She has had the opportunity to perform on many platforms across Canada,USA and India. Some of the prestigious stages include “Margazhi Festival” by Medai Bengaluru,India,”YUVAby Silambam Houston, USA”, “Nexgen MultiartsFestival,Montreal”, “Aga Khan Museum, Toronto”, ”Toronto International Dance Festival “etc. She has staged several productions, such as

“Mayurika-the Tales of a Mystic Bird” , “Urdhva-Jala”, “Tritiya Prakriti” etc.

She has been featured in Canadian media, such as CMN News and Dinamalar Toronto.

Canada Tamil Sangam awarded her the ‘North American Tamil Excellence Award 2024’ for outstanding performance and hard work.

She continues to put her earnest efforts and devotes herself to the field of dance.
